Human Rights Day 2023: Small Places Close to Home

This year is the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration on Human Rights, which inspired the European Convention on Human Rights and, in turn, the Human Rights Act. The United Nation’s call to action this year is to support a movement of shared humanity while empowering people to claim their rights.  

Our Human Rights Day celebrations aim to do just that, highlighting the impact of human rights in what UDHR architect Eleanor Roosevelt described as the “small places close to home”.
