Mental Health Early Intervention and Human Rights: A practitioner's guide

The booklet is free but postage cost will be added at Checkout

This booklet is about human rights in mental health early intervention services. It is aimed at professionals working in those settings, in hospital or in the community. We use the term 'practitioner' throughout to include anyone working in early intervention (e.g. qualified and unqualified workers). Lots of information in the booklet may also be useful for people using mental health early intervention services, their family, carers or advocates.

Key issues covered:

Medication and consent, including a decision-making flowchart

Assertive outreach

Community Treatment Orders

This booklet is also available as part of our Practitioner Toolkit.
