Awareness-Raising Workshops

The Baring Foundation have generously funded BIHR’s Community Programme for three years, from 2022 to 2025. The project is to deliver on BIHR’s aim to strengthen the agency and voice of community and voluntary groups to address social justice issues using human rights.

BIHR is pleased to be re-opening applications for the 2024 cycle of awareness-raising workshops for community and voluntary groups across the UK. We are offering bespoke, introductory online workshops for up to 20 applicants. The workshops will focus on the practical use of the Human Rights Act and how it can be used to challenge social injustices and disadvantage which community and voluntary groups are trying to change.
