This half day event will launch BIHR's new online advocacy tool: Know Your Human Rights, which supports people to know when their human rights may be at risk in mental health and mental capacity services, and how to use the law to resolve these issues in everyday discussions with staff.

This event is open to people with mental health and/or capacity issues, their families, carers, support workers and advocates. You will have the opportunity to learn more about how human rights law can help you in your everyday interactions with health and care services, and the opportunity to use our new online tool and hear about how it has helped people during its development, and how you can make best use of this new resource.

This event is free to attend, and we have 50 places available at our session, which will be held in Central London on the afternoon 3 July.

Please sign up below and further details and an agenda will follow.

We can offer some support towards travel costs for individuals and small self-led groups. Please book your space below and then contact Rephael on [email protected] for further information about what support we can provide.

This project has been kindly funded by The Legal Education Foundation.
