BIHR and Sue Ryder invite you to attend a learning event on 2 February about human rights and end of life care. Sue Ryder have partnered with BIHR to develop a pracititoner based resource to empower front line staff.

To maximise the potential of this new resource, we are holding two capacity building events where we will provide health and social care professionals involved in end of life care with an important opportunity to embed the learning from the resource, and to develop the confidence to champion this resource among colleagues.

This learning event will look at:

  • An introduction to the current policy context of end of life care
  • An introduction to the Human Rights Act
  • The relationship between human rights and end of life care
  • Using human rights in practice and how to raise human rights issues

The event is free to attend but places are limited and only open to health and social care professionals involved in end of life care.

Booking for this event has now closed.
