One of our supporters, Ben Rajan, will be running the Virgin Money London Marathon for BIHR in 2015.

He will be joining 35,000 runners on the day to run the 26.2 miles, all in the aid of raising funds for the ongoing work of the British Institute of Human Rights. Ben will be going to the distance for human rights, and why not donate today to help him take his first step towards his goal of raising £2000.

I'm a 26yr old Engineer currently living and working in Leamington Spa.

I've been running for a number of years and I'm really excited at the opportunity to run the London Marathon this year for BIHR. I believe the work they undertake is truly invaluable and I hope the funds I raise can make a difference to upholding equality and human rights here at home.

For me, supporting Human Rights is about giving people a safety net to ensure that they are treated fairly, with dignity and respect and speaking out when this is not the case. Luckily, for the majority this will not have to be at the forefront of minds during their daily lives but this is about ensuring that there is support there when circumstances change or for those lacking the voice.
