The Guardian highlights Human Rights and Healthcare project

Today's Guardian features the Human Rights and Healthcare Project, a project led by the Department of Health with five NHS Trusts, BIHR and ROI Operations. An article in Society Guardian reports on a recent roundtable discussion convened by the Guardian in partnership with the Equality and Human Rights Commission. 
 
BIHR Director, Katie Ghose, took part in the roundtable which focused on how to make human rights a reality in health and social care. Katie said, "I was pleased that the discussion brought out the potential for human rights to help deliver quality services and to focus on prevention rather than cure".
