On Thursday 9th March, we’ll be coming to Oswestry, Shropshire in partnership with Fairness, Respect, Equality Shropshire (FRESh) Ltd on our Human Rights Tour to hold a free local information and discussion event.

The event aims to:
• Raise awareness about human rights and their relevance in everyday life
• Provide a space for debate and discussion

To secure your free place, please use our on-line booking form below.

What happens on the day?

We will provide a basic introduction to the law that protects our human rights in the UK. We explore how the Human Rights Act is not simply about courts, but relevant and real to us all in everyday life. Importantly, there will be an opportunity to engage in some of the important debates going on about the future of our human rights law.

Using a combination of presentations, interactive sessions, discussions (and creative activities!) these full day events provide a much-needed space to look together at the law, everyday practice, portrayals of human rights, as well as human rights issues in the local rural area.

Fairness, Respect, Equality Shropshire (FRESh) Ltd will be providing a free buffet lunch.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
